Are Jebella Artistry's Stylists Licensed Cosmetologists and why is that important for my wedding day or special event

All Jebella Artistry Stylists are Licensed Cosmetologists with a very extensive background. It is particularly important to make sure that the stylist you are booking for your event is properly licensed, not only due to health and safety regulations but also to maintain the same level of professionalism that clients are accustomed to when visiting their favorite salon.

What products will Jebella Artistry use?

Jebella Artistry uses top of the line hair and makeup products. Our favorite hairstyling product is Kerastase and for makeup, we use MAC, Urban Decay cosmetics, Estee Lauder and NARS.

How does the booking process work once I decide that I would like to work with Jebella Artistry?

To book with Jebella Artistry, you will need to sign a formal contract as well as a non-refundable retainer which is $160.00 That retainer will be placed towards your total invoice. The remain balance will be due on the week prior your wedding date by cash or credit card.

Is there a travel fee involved?

Yes, we charge 0.75 cents per mile when the client's location is 20 miles outside of Washington DC.

Is parking included with my services?

We encourage our stylists and makeup artists to always try to find the most cost-effective parking solutions. in the event, they are unable to do so, we ask that paid parking be provided for our stylists/makeup artists for on location services


Does Jebella Artistry provide a trial run, when is it held and what should I expect?

We recommend at least one trial prior to the wedding day. Jebella Artistry is an on-site company therefore, the hair and/or makeup trial will be held at your most convenient location. The trial includes time for a detailed consultation, one hair style, time to try accessories/veils and to test out how the hairstyle or makeup application looks on you. We will allow clients to try multiple styles if it is similar in texture (up or down.) Please voice your style concerns prior to the trial and be prepared with pictures and ideas to share with your stylist and/or makeup artist. There is an additional fee if the trial goes over two hours for trying multiple styles or makeup.

Am I able to have a trial before signing the contract?

Yes, you are welcomed to have a trial prior to signing the contract. We do want to mention that your wedding or event date will not be guaranteed until proper booking has been stablished due to our high booking volume. Once we receive your appointment request, we will proceed to put a courtesy placeholder on your wedding date until 48 hours after you trial has been completed to allow you time to decide about contracting our services.

Will the artist who did my trial be the same artist on my wedding day?

Yes, the artist who did your trial will be the same artist on your wedding date. In the event of any emergency changes, we will notify our client between 24-48 hours prior to their event and we will provide an artist with similar work process.

Is gratuity included on my services?

Gratuity is not included on your services. You are more than welcome to tip your stylist or makeup artist in the same form as the total payment or directly to the artist. If you would prefer your guests to pay individually, all payments need to be in cash.

I already said I love my hair and makeup at the trial, would I be able to change my style on the wedding day?

We do not recommend making drastic changes after your trial. If you plan on making changes, we request that you book another trial run. Minor changes such as placement, volume, softness etc. are perfectly fine!

Is there a minimum requirement for guests to be served?

Jebella Artistry does have a minimum of 4 guest to provide on location services.

How long until I receive my wedding timeline?

Jebella Artistry provide our clients with their timelines 4 weeks prior to their event. The reason is we want our clients to be able to add last minute services if they need to.
